Title: Include More Microwaves on Campus
1. WHEREAS: The Associated Students, Inc. (AS) is the official voice of over 38,000 students at California State University Northridge; AND
2. WHEREAS: A.S. is the primary advocate for students at CSUN and provides excellent, meaningful programs and services designed to create and enhance a spirited, learning focused campus environment; AND
3. WHEREAS: Many students are returning to campus for the first time and need abundant resources on campus; AND
4. WHEREAS: One of those necessary resources are microwaves for students to access to heat up their meals throughout the day; AND
5. WHEREAS: Students report a scarcity of microwaves across campus which can contribute to them having to skip meals especially if they do not have the time to get across campus to heat their meal; THEREFORE LET IT BE
1. RESOLVED: That Associated Students requests that more microwaves be installed across campus for students to use; AND LET IT BE FURTHER
2. RESOLVED: That the locations of all microwaves are publicized to students so everyone knows their exact locations; AND LET IT FINALLY BE
3. RESOLVED: That copies of this resolution be distributed widely, including but not limited to the following:
