'''1. WHEREAS:''' The Associated Students, Inc. (AS) is the official voice of
over 38,000 students at California State University Northridge; AND

'''2. WHEREAS:''' AS is the primary advocate for students at CSUN and
provides excellent, meaningful programs and services designed to create
and enhance a spirited, learning focused campus environment; AND

'''3. WHEREAS:''' AS is always trying to get more students involved and
increase student participation within the many programs and services we
offer; AND

'''4. WHEREAS:''' CSUN is federally recognized as an “Asian American,
Native American, and Pacific Islander Serving Institution” (AANAPISI)
considering the relatively large Asian American and Pacific Islander
(AAPI), and Native American student demographic on campus; AND

'''5. WHEREAS:''' 10.4% of the 38,000 undergraduates at CSUN are AAPI
studies; AND

'''6. WHEREAS:''' The Asian American Studies Pathways Project (AASPP) is
an on-campus internship program that provides student-initiated
programming focused on student support services and success for those
interested or enrolled in AAS courses; AND

'''7. WHEREAS:''' The AASPP program and interns have served over 585
people through their events, support services, and general services since
Spring 2018; THEREFORE LET IT BE

'''1. RESOLVED:''' AS strongly supports the AASPP; AND LET IT BE
FURTHER

'''2. RESOLVED:''' AS encourages all students, faculty, staff and
administration to support the AASPP; AND LET IT BE FURTHER

'''3. RESOLVED:''' That copies of this resolution be distributed widely,
including but not limited to the following:
